Sally Davies studied illustration and graphic design in college and illustrated magazines, posters, menus, text books, and children's books for many years.
Recently, she shifted her interest to large scale paintings and creating time-lapse films. Her artwork has won numerous awards at international film festivals and juried exhibits.
Davies’ solo exhibit “Our Fractured Life” at the Torpedo Factory Arts Center, VA was favorably reviewed in the Washington Post Arts Section (May 29, 2022). https://youtu.be/vHvnVMAvyJA
She is a juried member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, Potomac Valley Watercolorists, Gallery 75 (Torpedo Factory, VA), and the Children's Book Guild of Washington, DC. She teaches classes in watercolor, printmaking, and art exploration at the Greenbelt Community Center and private classes.
